Mexican Ninja is chaotic, crude, colorful and completely absurd, and that’s exactly why it works. It may not reinvent the genre, but between satisfying combos, over-the-top action and plenty of ridiculous moments, Mexican Ninja delivers one hell of a good time.
Choppa: Rescue Rivals is the kind of game that wears its influences proudly inspired by the arcade classics and over-the-top animated shows of the 1980s and 1990s. It is accessible, charming and, most importantly, fun.
Gunstoppable was a game I genuinely wanted to enjoy, but its promising ideas were held back by a repetitive gameplay loop and a noticeable lack of polish. It was far from a bad game, and with more variety, balancing and refinement, I could easily see it becoming a much more enjoyable experience for the right audience.
Anomaly President is an unexpectedly enjoyable blend of political satire, fast-paced action and rogue-like progression. It may not be the most conventional presidential campaign I’ve ever experienced, but it certainly ranks among the most entertaining.
Season 4 strengthens the game’s cooperative action without abandoning its core formula. A worthwhile update for returning players and newcomers looking for a fresh reason to experience Killing Floor 3.
Kusan: City of Wolves is a stylish and rewarding top-down action game that delivers challenging, skill-based combat, a compelling cyberpunk atmosphere, and polished presentation. It may yet be your new favorite unforgiving game.
